Jakarta, Bawaslu – Setelah mendapat dukungan dari Komisi I DPR terkait penertiban iklan kampanye di media elektronik, empat lembaga negara yakni Badan Pengawas Pemilu (Bawaslu), Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU), Komisi Penyiaran Indonesia (KPI) dan Komisi Informasi Pusat (KIP) akhirnya menandatangani Surat Keputusan Bersama (SKB) tentang kepatuhan ketentuan pelaksanaan kampanye melalui media penyiaran.
Yogyakarta, Bawaslu – Meskipun pemerintah tidak memproses lagi usulan untuk membiayai Mitra Pengawas Pemilu Lapangan (PPL), namun Bawaslu tetap berusaha memperkuat struktur PPL dengan mengajukan tambahan 2 orang PPL. Dengan demikian, 3 orang PPL yang ada di setiap desa/kelurahan saat ini, nantinya akan bertambah menjadi 5 orang.
