Jakarta, Election Supervisory Board - Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs held a meeting with political party elites in Hotel Borobudur, Central Jakarta, Friday (16/10) afternoon. The meeting discussed the simultaneous election for local leaders Unison 2015 in the next few days.
This meeting involved the political party elites who are members of Koalisi Merah Putih (KMP), or from Koalisi Indosia Hebat (KIH). The topic of this meeting was the "Gathering of Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs with Political Party leaders in order to succeed the Simultaneous Election for Local Leaders 2015".
In his speech, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, Luhut Pandjaitan said that the mapping / identification of Election Insecurity Index published by Election Supervisory Board needed to be used as a benchmark or guideline in securing the election for local leaders.
'' I think the Election Insecurity Index published by Election Supervisory Board is very important. So, the Police, the Army Commander and the State Intelligence Agency are able to focus on securing the next election for local leader,'' added Luhut.
Besides discussing about the elections Simultaneous Election for Local Leaders 2015, Coordinating Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, Luhut Pandjaitan also scheduled talks on security and economic conditions.
The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Law and Human Rights Yassonna Laoly, Chairman of the Constitutional Court Arief Hidayat, Chairman of the Election Commission of the republic of Indonesia Husni Kamil Manik, Chairman of the Elections Supervisory Board Nelson Simanjuntak, chairman of the Honorary Board of Election Jimly Asshdiqie, Attorney General M Prasetyo, National Police Chief Gen. Badrodin Haiti, chief of the Indonesian National Armed Forces Gen. Gatot Nurmantyo, Director General of Finance of the Ministry of Domestic Affairs Reydonnyzar Moenek, and the Head of State Intelligence Agency Sutiyoso.
While the political party elites present were, namely, General Chairman of Golkar from the result of National Deliberative Council in Bali Aburizal Bakrie, General Chairman of Golkar from the result of National Deliberative Council in Ancol Agung Laksono, Secretary General of Gerindra Ahmad Muzani, Chairman of National Leader of Nasdem Taufik Basari, Secretary General of PDIP Hasto Kristiyanto, Secretary General of PKB Abdul Kadir Karding, Secretary General of PPP from the result of Congress in Jakarta Dimyati Natakusumah, Secretary General of PAN Eddy Soeparno, Secretary General of Demokrat Hinca Pandjaitan, and Chairman of National Leader of Hanura Nurdin Tampubolon. The meeting was also attended by the Chairman of the House of Representative Setya Novanto.
